Speaking to our correspondent at a recent press briefing in Ikeja Lagos, the spokesperson for El-Berachah Ministry, Mr. Olorokun Tosin, noted that at this point in the history of Nigeria, it is important that Nigerians should continuously raise altars of worship to command God’s intervention in our nation.
He said,
“Nigeria is at a cross road in its history, this is the time for us to raise altars of worship to attract divine intervention. This vision takes its root from 2 Chronicles 26:1-20, the scriptures describes how the Israelites were faced with insurmountable situations and how they applied the instrumentality of worship to solve their problems”The event also marks the Founder’s Day Celebration of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. Since the Church was founded in 1947, the 69 year old religious institution has become a global phenomenon. Speaking further, Mr. Olorokun noted that
“the mission of this divine mandate is in tandem with the Divine Order of the Celestial Church of Christ. Luli Concert seeks to partake in the harvest of souls that are heaven bound. The cardinal instrument for this harvest is the instrumentality of praise, worship and word. Our vision focuses on building a global platform where believers congregate periodically to worship in truth and spirit under one platform and the barriers of denomination would be broken”The Concert will feature a 400-member mass Choir under the umbrella of the Celestial Church of Christ Central Choir coordinated by Dr. Wole Adetiran, formerly of the Music Department, The Polytechnic Ibadan. Other performing artistes are Sola Allyson, Seyi Solagbade, Remi Olabamiji, Steve Pelemoh (Bro Bro), Anna Teko from Republic of Benin, Kentoxygen, Elizabeth Emoruwa (Project Fame), Debbie Ohiri and Imoleayo Akin Adebayo.
